Job Title: Finance Specialist (6-Month Contract) Location: London (Hybrid - 3 Days in Office) Start Date: ASAP Day Rate: £450 (Outside IR35) (Approx. £575 via umbrella)

Overview

A well-known British retailer is seeking a qualified Finance Specialist to support year-end reporting and group consolidation activities. This 6-month contract offers a hybrid work model (3 days in the London office) with a competitive day rate outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare statutory accounts for multiple UK entities and the consolidated group under FRS 102.
2. Draft supporting reports (e.g., Directors', Strategic, Accounting Policies) and prepare working papers, including goodwill impairment reviews.
3. Reconcile statutory accounts to management accounts.
4. Respond to external audit queries and ensure the timely delivery of audit materials.
5. Convert consolidation adjustments from FRS 102 to IFRS for international shareholder reporting.

Requirements

1. ACA qualified.
2. Strong experience in statutory accounts and group consolidations.
3. Proficient in IFRS.
