Interim Treasurer Role (6-Month Contract )

London-based (with occasional travel to Manchester)

£1000–£1200/day

We’re partnering with a renewable energy, PE-backed business. This is a high-impact opportunity to bring clarity, structure, and strategic input into a Treasury function that is currently stretched, manual, and under-resourced.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide hands-on support acting as an experienced pair of hands to help manage the day-to-day and reduce workload pressure.
• Lead a strategic review of the Treasury function – identify inefficiencies, embed best practices, and propose improvements to support growth and maturity.
• Drive process improvements – streamline manual operations and implement scalable solutions.
• Support key Treasury projects, including refinancing (with a focus on receivables) and other funding initiatives.
• Collaborate with the CFO to shape and deliver the broader Treasury strategy and ensure alignment with the business’s medium-to-long-term objectives.
• Offer insight and direction to better inform the team’s future goals and operational approach.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in senior Treasury roles, ideally at the interim or consulting level.
• Strong background in process improvement and best practice implementation.
• Hands-on experience with refinancing, particularly receivables-based structures.
• Ability to work closely with CFOs and senior leadership on strategy.
• Experience in Private Equity-backed businesses highly preferred.
• Comfortable rolling up sleeves, managing day-to-day work, and mentoring junior team members.
