Job Title: Commercial Account Executive

We are actively looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. Our local Commercial team has grown rapidly over the last 14 years, now comprising over 200 members across the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for building rapport with new and existing clients, ranging from sole traders to MDs/CEOs of large organizations, and working closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.

About you
  • You will have experience in winning new business and building long-lasting relationships with B2B clients.
  • You should have a passion for developing business through marketing, community engagement, networking, and client meetings. The stronger our market presence, the more successful you will be.
  • You will be tenacious and curious about business, enabling you to identify and explore new opportunities for the best outcomes for clients.
  • You should be eager to learn, as this role offers daily new challenges and opportunities for professional growth and qualifications.
  • You will be consultative, able to question effectively, and an active listener, fully understanding client requirements and advising on suitable products and solutions, always seeking a 'path to yes'.
