Job description

Whitehall Resources are seeking an Infrastructure Network Engineer. This role offers hybrid working with 2 days on-site in the West Midlands and the rest remote, initially for a 6-month contract.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, evaluating, configuring, troubleshooting, and implementing network solutions. Senior network engineers should have extensive knowledge of routing, switching, F5 load balancer, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, ISE, and network security services.

Your responsibilities:

1. Independently troubleshoot and resolve all product and infrastructure service incidents.
2. Manage voice management queues in ServiceNow and ensure SLAs are met.
3. Perform technical tasks such as patching, scripting, log review, build and configuration activities, and maintaining the technical estate.
4. Prioritize tasks to ensure high-priority activities are completed promptly.
5. Support senior engineers with service and hardware lifecycle and asset management.
6. Contribute to network implementation and migration from Checkpoint to Palo Alto.
7. Support change and implementation processes with appropriate technical expertise, maintaining an enterprise view.
