Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Job Overview

Our client, a well-known asbestos company with a strong UK-wide presence, is seeking a driven Asbestos Surveyor due to recent contract wins. The role involves covering new commercial, residential, and local authority premises. Candidates from outside the specified areas are considered if they can travel as required. The company offers competitive salaries and benefits.

Experience & Qualifications

• Strong experience as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited company
• Qualified with BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• Good technical knowledge, including HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
• IT literate with strong written skills
• Flexible to travel as required
• Hardworking

Role Responsibilities

• Undertaking management, refurbishment, and demolition asbestos surveys
• Collecting ACM samples from sites
• Writing detailed survey reports with site-specific drawings
• Conducting reinspection surveys
• Meeting clients on-site to discuss findings and provide technical advice
• Representing the company professionally
• Wearing correct PPE at all times
