Senior Estimator (Civils)

We're looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Natural Resources Team, focusing on Civils. You will be responsible for estimating duties on our new Southern Water framework.

Location: With remote working, you'll be able to travel to client sites and offices across the Southern Water contract.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time. Flexible and part-time hours may be available upon request.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all aspects of the pre-construction phase, including early contractor involvement and pre-work prior to tenders.
• Prepare multi-discipline tender pricing, capable of producing various levels of pricing from budgets to lump sums.
• Interpret client specifications and drawings, considering site safety, health, quality, and environmental issues.
• Participate in review and progress meetings, including site visits.
• Determine project requirements and solutions, including programs and value engineering, with risk and opportunity identification.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in delivering tenders/pricing of varying sizes and complexities, managing multiple projects within a framework environment.
• Experience in the pre-construction phase, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities swiftly.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with a good understanding of client requirements and commercial awareness.
