Medical Field Service Engineer - Surgical Microscopy & Ophthalmic Instrumentation in Luton, Bedford, Cambridge, Peterborough, Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City, St Albans, Hatfield, Letchworth, Huntingdon, Royston, Biggleswade, St Ives, Sandy & St Neots.
Salary: £40K - £44K + Bonus (Earnings £44K to £50K) + Car + Benefits including Pension, Private Healthcare, Broadband contributions, and comprehensive product training.
This role is ideal for ex-HM Forces Engineers (REME, Navy, RAF) or experienced Medical or Service Engineers with a background in high-value electronic/electrical equipment, optics, lasers, medical devices, laboratory devices, or semiconductor process equipment. Role responsibilities: Maintenance, service, breakdown, and repair of networked electronic optical medical systems used in various medical fields including optometry, dentistry, radiotherapy, neurosurgery, and gynecology. The role is home-based with travel to hospitals and healthcare centers.
Candidate requirements: Qualification in electronics, engineering, or science. Experience as an HM Forces Engineer or in medical/service engineering on high-value equipment. Full product training will be provided.
