Job summary
A fantastic opportunity to provide specialist Pharmacy Services to the Immunology speciality.
This role involves developing the clinical Pharmacy Service for Immunology, with some crossover with Rheumatology, Dermatology, and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) specialties. As medicines become more complex, you will play a pivotal role in the safe introduction and management of medicines including Immunoglobulins, Immunotherapy, Monoclonal Antibodies, and Gene Therapy.
You will be an individual with proven experience in a Hospital Pharmacy setting, with extensive experience in a clinical role. Some experience with Immunology, Dermatology, or Rheumatology patients would be desirable. Due to the large cohort of Immunology patients undergoing bone marrow transplants, BOPA SACT competency accreditation would be an advantage. You will also have excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and experience of directorate working, including managing high-cost drugs and contributing to clinical guidelines and protocols.
