We are looking for a forward-thinking, enthusiastic pharmacist to help lead and deliver out-patient services and work with the specialist pharmacy teams providing services across the trust.
This is a full-time post. The post holder will be required to participate in the on-call (backup), weekend, bank holiday, and late-night duty rotas.
You will need to be a GPhC registered pharmacist with a diploma in General Pharmacy Practice or equivalent and broad hospital-based experience. You will need to have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a large multi-disciplinary team. You will also need to be friendly, approachable, adaptable, flexible, willing to learn new skills and be committed to continuous professional development.
The Pharmacy Department offers comprehensive pharmaceutical services across the site including in-patient and out-patient services, a well-respected clinical pharmacy service supported by specialist clinical pharmacists, and a well-equipped Medicines Information centre integrated into the Regional Medicines Information Centre. A large licensed 'specials' manufacturing unit complements these services.
