Job Description:

It's a great time to join us here at Formula. We’re an established yet growing digital agency and we’ve just gone through a rebrand transformation alongside moving our PPC arm of the business in-house.

And we’re looking for someone to lead it.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing paid media campaigns across a variety of platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft, Facebook and other social networks.

You will be passionate about paid media and the wider digital marketing sector and will naturally share this knowledge within the team, acting as the expert and mentor to all.

Reporting directly to our Head of Operations, this role will become an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team in an informal, dynamic and supportive environment, working towards becoming our Head of PPC within a year.

The Role

This role sits within our core team, alongside the leadership team and Account Managers, and with exposure to all aspects of our client campaigns.

You will lead all PPC campaigns for a variety of our hospitality clients, contributing to the client's digital transformation. You will innovate our agency work with best-in-class SEO solutions, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

Our aim is to offer results driven, measurable and exciting paid media strategies to our range of hospitality clients. To do this, we’re looking for an ambitious Senior Paid Media Strategist to successfully deliver paid media campaigns.

Your Profile:

  • 8+ years paid media experience in b2c markets, ideally agency-side and/or hospitality
  • Know Google Ads inside and out
  • Have a good understanding of Google Hotel Ads
  • Knowledge of managing Microsoft and Meta ads beneficial
  • Experience dealing with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Understand conversion rate optimisation (CRO) best practise
  • Be comfortable manipulating large amounts of data and producing actionable insights
  • Confident dealing with clients, managing their expectations, chairing review meetings and handling commercial conversations
  • Confident training and mentoring other members of the team
  • Proactive and highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of our team.
  • Strong business acumen and a proven track record of identifying and growing new business opportunities.
  • Self-starter who loves taking ownership of processes and projects
  • Fluent written and oral English skills

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the strategy, planning and execution of all paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft, Meta and other relevant platforms.
  • Owning and optimising Google Hotel Ads accounts to maximise visibility and return on ad spend for our hotel clients.
  • Building and managing comprehensive paid media strategies tailored to the hotel booking journey—aligned to our proprietary Hotel Growth Formula.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve performance, from keyword optimisation to audience targeting, bidding strategies and beyond.
  • Analysing campaign data to uncover actionable insights, and presenting these clearly to clients and the internal team.
  • Collaborating with our Account Managers and SEO/CRO specialists to deliver cohesive, data-led digital growth strategies.
  • Creating and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement, testing new channels, formats and innovations in paid media.
  • Training, mentoring and upskilling other team members in best-in-class PPC practices.
  • Acting as the go-to paid media expert across the agency—internally and externally—with a focus on growing this function into a full in-house PPC department.
  • Playing a key role in client meetings, helping to build trust, communicate impact, and navigate commercial conversations with confidence.
  • Supporting new business proposals and contributing to the commercial growth of the agency.

Location & Travel

We’ve successfully adopted a hybrid approach of working, whereby 4 days a week we are all working from home, and 1 day a week we get together and work from our London office.

Remuneration and Hours

£45,000 (pro rated for 20 hours a week) plus incredible benefits such as
