Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site, London, UK)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist senior technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasks and fault updates

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Ideal for those with experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
