Job description

The role of the Risk & Compliance Lead is critical to the organisation to enable it to achieve its objectives. This role will ensure that Dynamic Planner is an industry leader in our approach to risk and compliance.

The role will act as an internal audit function and will work with colleagues at all levels across the business to enable positive and proactive risk management and compliance behaviours, ensuring they are embedded across the organization and second-nature to our people.

Knowledge and experience

• Experience of Risk Management.
• Risk or audit roles with a successful track record at a similar level.
• Proven track record in establishing strong working relationships with business-wide stakeholders.
• Demonstrated business acumen.
• Good understanding of risk and control frameworks and risk management principles.
• Experience in financial services is desirable but not essential.

Job Responsibilities

Risk and audit

• Facilitate risk management discussions working with colleagues across Dynamic Planner.
• Maintain the risk register, ensuring it focuses on key risks, and is accurate and up to date.
• Act as an internal audit function.
• Lead on the development of a communication and training programme to support the embedding of risk management and compliance across the organization.

Compliance

• Maintain ISO27001 – information security management with IT Ops Manager.
• Support in achieving ISO42001 – AI and management with IT Ops Manager.
• Assess for suitability ISO9001 - quality management with Head of Customer Success.
• Assess for suitability ISO14001 - environmental management with Head of Ops.
• Assess for suitability ISO50001 - energy management with Head of Ops.
• Assess for suitability ISO45001 - occupational health and safety with Head of Ops.
• Enable delivery of compliant ways of working, provide guidance, and facilitate staff development in this area.
• Support the organisation’s current and future ventures to identify possible compliance risks and mitigate as appropriate.

Security and Governance

• Support IT Ops colleagues in ensuring Dynamic Planner’s data and systems are secure.
• Support CFO in their role as Data Protection Officer.
• Provide business-wide security support – working with IT Operations to make us industry-leading in our approach.
• Support stakeholders to ensure security is ingrained in daily work practices.

Other

• Support in RFI and RFP responses.
• Be a central point of expertise in communicating our approach to risk to external parties, clients, and prospects.
• Assist in responses to information requests.
