Are you looking to develop your career in IT Service Delivery Management?

You may be an experienced 2nd or 3rd level Service Desk Analyst with some involvement in service improvement or design projects. In which case, we have just the opportunity for you to take the next step in your career!

We are looking for someone with experience in IT service delivery and service improvement projects to mediate with our projects and service delivery teams to develop ongoing improvements to the managed services we provide our Public Sector client.

You will engage with various teams, making sure that not only are the projects on track to be delivered on time but that the service is constantly moving forward and provide intelligent oversight for smooth transition through to implementation.

This hybrid role will support a great work life balance, with the majority of your time being based from home and only one or two visits to our office in Salisbury, will be necessary each week. Given the nature of the role, there also will be occasions when an office presence will be vital to support the projects.

The successful applicant will also need to complete vetting for SC Clearance before beginning in the role.

What you'll be doing:

• Overseeing simultaneous projects from start to finish, ensuring no surprises, and managing relationships during the project lifecycle.
• Acting as a gatekeeper between IT operations and the projects teams to prevent issues from occurring.
• Providing insight on the project requirements with adequate evidence and solutions that lead to effective service delivery.
• Advising project teams on transition approaches and feeding back into operations to suggest alternative solutions. Liaising with external third parties, who provide application and end-user services.
• Interacting with client project teams and service managers to keep them up to date.

What you’ll bring:

• Previous experience of building and maintaining client relationships in IT service provision.
• A strong understanding of ITIL fundamentals.
• Strong and flexible communication skills with the ability to adapt at all levels.

It would be great if you had:

• Previous experience in a similar Service Management/ Design role.
• ITIL v3 Service Transition Manager Accreditation Experience and knowledge of the Public Sector.
• Existing SC clearance.
