Maintenance Technician – £50,320, Derby, Shifts: Monday - Friday (Early, Lates, Nights)

We are supporting their recruitment drive to add maintenance technicians due to increased workforce requirements throughout 2023. About You

To be considered for the Maintenance Technician role, you must have:

• Level 3 engineering qualification
• Mechanical/electrical fault-finding skills
• A drive to continually improve the site
• Willingness to work across a three-shift pattern, including nights
• Flexibility to undertake occasional overtime shifts

About the Role

As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a variety of PLC-controlled automated production machinery, including conveyors, hydraulic presses, robotics, plastic injection moulding, and other niche equipment specific to the site and industry.

Other responsibilities include:

• Planned preventive maintenance
• Responding to breakdowns
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Working with fluid power systems
• Project work, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting the installation of new machinery
