Our client, a well-established, worldwide company, specialising in industrial cleaning products, currently has the need for a Regional Service Technician to join their team. This role is field-based covering London/Greater London to include HP, WD, and associated postcodes, with potential time in central London. The successful candidate will benefit from a dedicated fully accredited internal training scheme.

Main Tasks of the Role:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on products, maintaining company and industry standards within the agreed timeframes
- Use diagnostic systems to ensure thorough testing and high-quality repairs
- Replace parts and components, keeping detailed, organized records of repairs in accordance with customer purchase order systems and warranty guidelines
- Maintain regular communication with Team Leader and Schedulers to ensure efficiency and KPIs are achieved
- Communicate effectively with Customers and Schedulers to develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Complete documentation of work orders for accurate records and orders
- Control van stocks according to customer base, ensuring a 5% variance during stock takes
- Ensure the relevance of van stock items and liaise with the Team Leader as necessary
- Identify and communicate sales leads to Business Development Manager and Key Account Manager
- Maintain tools and equipment to a safe and satisfactory condition
- Participate actively in on-the-job coaching and regular performance reviews with the Team Leader
- Attend accreditation training courses for self-development
The Successful Candidate:
- Understanding of municipal vehicles, mechanical systems, hydraulics, or auto electrics
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Engineering preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience or knowledge in the cleaning industry or material handling is desirable
- Proven field service experience in maintenance or technical roles
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, flexible, highly organized
- High diagnostic skills
- Experience with electric/electronic systems, batteries, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and engines is advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel nationally with overnight stays
