Bright Sprout is on the lookout for an experienced, thoughtful, and creative SEO Consultant to enhance our small but mighty team. We’re a close-knit crew of three and we’ve spent the last four years helping local and national brands punch above their weight through intelligent, honest, digital marketing. We’re curious problem-solvers who love learning, experimenting, and winning alongside our clients.

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes SEO - someone who’s as confident dissecting technical audits as they are shaping content strategies and digging into search intent. You’ll be taking the lead on developing SEO strategies for our clients (and sometimes for ourselves), translating goals into smart, effective action plans that drive real growth.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute SEO strategies tailored to each client’s goals and stage of growth
• Delve deep into SEO performance, using tools like GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog (and any other tools you have access to), producing insightful reports.
• Carry out technical SEO on a variety of CMS (although mostly Wordpress) to ensure sites are running optimally (site structure, meta data, structured schema, indexing, site speed, etc.)
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content audits
• Create SEO optimised content that drives traffic and attracts links
• Identify and implement white-hat link-building strategies
• Remain ahead of industry trends and algorithm updates, translating changes into opportunities for our clients

Experience

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of dedicated, hands-on, SEO experience, ideally in both agency and in-house environments
• A strong grasp of both technical and content SEO, for local and national brands
• High level of expertise with tools like GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Comfortable leading strategy and communicating this with clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce engaging content that addresses user intent.
• Experience with white-hat link building, outreach and digital PR
• Curious, collaborative, and proactive
• Someone who genuinely enjoys solving problems
