Hours of work: 24 hours per week, including Saturdays

Day Lewis is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant. If successful, this role will support your development and future career in Medicine and Clinical Care.

The initial stage involves settling into our team and completing the Day Lewis Induction training. Depending on your previous pharmacy experience, you may need to complete a pharmacy assistant course, which can take between 3-6 months.

Our vision is to develop the next generation of Pharmacy Technicians, supporting training and course reimbursement.

The National Pharmaceutical Association's new BTEC Level 3 Diploma - Principles and Practices for Pharmacy Technicians is an integrated course designed to meet the needs of learners and pharmacies, especially as the responsibilities and professional recognition of pharmacy technicians grow.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support as a Pharmacy Assistant is vital to the team in providing advanced and enhanced services.

• Assist the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy business by ensuring the dispensary delivers excellent customer service and operates effectively according to company policies and procedures.
• Assist on the front counter, providing a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.
• Be an integral part of a small, dedicated team.
• Develop relationships with patients and healthcare organizations to ensure effective and patient-friendly customer service.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment that rewards, recognizes, and empowers hard work.
