40 hours per week

Day Lewis is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant - Dispenser. Successful candidates will have opportunities for development and a future career in Medicine and Clinical Care.

The initial stage involves settling into our team and completing the Day Lewis Induction training. Depending on prior pharmacy experience, additional training such as a pharmacy assistant course (which can take 3-6 months) may be required.

The BTEC Level 3 Diploma - Principles and Practices for Pharmacy Technicians is an integrated course tailored to meet the needs of learners and pharmacies, reflecting the growing responsibility and recognition of pharmacy technicians.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support at the Pharmacy Assistant level is vital for providing advanced and enhanced services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy by ensuring excellent customer service and effective operation of the dispensary according to company policies.
• Support on the front counter and provide a welcoming environment for patients.
• Be an integral part of a small, dedicated team.
• Develop relationships with patients and healthcare organizations to deliver effective, patient-friendly customer service.
• Contribute to a family-owned chain that values hard work through recognition and empowerment.
