Markets Operations Belfast Overview: Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience. The Commodities Operations team is responsible for providing front to back support for all Commodities. The team ensures smooth transaction flows, accuracy, and reduced operational risks.

What you’ll do:

1. Be responsible for executing on key operational controls, often time-sensitive and business-critical, focusing on risk reduction, control management, and escalations.
2. Act as an analytical and procedural expert, identifying and escalating control deficiencies and issues to senior management as needed.
3. Develop expertise in internal systems, including automated trade feeds, data mappings, and downstream reporting configurations.
4. Collaborate daily across Global Clients, Trading, and Operations teams to provide solutions and identify/resolve root causes.
5. Serve as a key point of contact for the team across internal and external stakeholders.
6. Provide input to simplify, improve, and measure processes by delivering enhancements to the control environment.
