Senior Civil & Structural Engineer – Flexible Working Available

A well-established engineering consultancy near Woking, Surrey, is seeking a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across the built environment, including retail, commercial, healthcare, residential, and infrastructure developments.

Location:

Near Woking, Surrey (Hybrid – approx. 3 days in the office)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead civil engineering aspects of building projects
2. Liaise with clients and project teams
3. Undertake drainage design (SUDS, MicroDrainage) and external works for developments
4. Prepare S278 submissions and liaise with utility providers and highways authorities

Requirements:

• Chartered or near-chartered (ICE/IStructE)
• Hands-on design experience with UK building structures and civil engineering works
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage projects
• Experience in mentoring and supervising others (desirable)
