A leading company in King's Lynn is seeking an experienced HR Manager/HRBP to provide strategic HR services. The role involves implementing people initiatives, advising on employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. Looking for a new challenge? Working autonomously from our King's Lynn site, your valuable HR experience, flexibility, excellent influencing, and communication skills will support you in providing a proactive, strategic, effective, and professional HR service to your key stakeholders.
While championing group policies, procedures, and initiatives, you will support the delivery of the site people plan. You will ensure all people initiatives are implemented, including PDR, 360 feedback, 9-Box grid, and engagement surveys.
You will provide first-class advice on complex employee relations matters, where your strong coaching style will help you build and maintain strong relationships and achieve successful outcomes, ensuring statutory legislation compliance. Additionally, you will be responsible for advice and guidance on attendance issues. You will also be involved in BRC, Customer, ethical, and Pillar book audits to ensure all people elements are compliant.
Your interest in employee engagement will support the implementation of activities at your site linked to our DE&I and wellbeing roadmap. Building community and early career plans, working with external stakeholders, will enable your site to be an employer of choice.
The central recruitment team will lead attraction activities, but you will advise on your succession plan, skills, and knowledge gaps to ensure the recruitment team works proactively and reactively to find the best talent. Once hired, you will be responsible for onboarding new employees.
You will have energy, resilience, and a relish for a varied, challenging, sometimes frustrating, and busy workload. You will also have the opportunity to support our Site Director and Head of HR with HR projects.
Ideally, you will already be CIPD qualified and have some experience working in a manufacturing/FMCG environment. You should have excellent Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. Experience using Resource Link, Open Options, Networx, SAP is preferred, although training can be provided. A valid driving license is essential, as travel to HR meetings, conferences, events, training, and audits is required.
