Job Summary

No previous forensic experience required as full training will be given.

In collaboration with the Police, you will serve in custody suites, delivering healthcare to detainees. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in the custody suites, in line with a schedule agreed upon with our client.

Location: Swindon Police Station, Shrivenham Road, South Marston, Swindon, SN3 4RB

Job Responsibilities

£1000 bonus when completed 12 months service (£500 for PT).

Full-time shifts: 4 on, 4 off, 06:45 to 19:00 for day shifts, and 18:45 to 07:00 for night shifts, in a team rota pattern.

Part-time shifts: 2 day shifts, 8 days off, 2 night shifts, 4 days off, same shift hours.

Rolling rota available 2 years in advance.

Estimated overtime: £3500 per annum.

NMC/HCPC Registration paid.

Person Specification

Qualifications (Essential):

• RN, RGN, or RMN with dual registration: 2 years post qualification, Band 5 minimum
• Paramedic: 2 years post qualification
• Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a patient-facing role within relevant fields such as General Practice, A&E, Emergency Medicine, etc.
• Driving Licence
• Right to Work in UK, lived in UK with British Passport or ILR for 3 years, no gaps >3 months out of country
• Subject to Police Vetting
