Job Summary

As an eCommerce Account Manager – Amazon, you will support lead ownership and execution of a subset of Medline product divisions’ businesses at Amazon and Amazon-associated businesses. Your responsibilities include daily business management, cross-functional engagement, active customer management and negotiation. You will own your businesses' performance within a team dedicated to accelerating commercial strategies through analytical insights and strategic partnerships, both internally and externally. You will support collaborations with Amazon, Amazon Advertising, and external agencies, while aligning internal teams including sales, product division, marketing, and creative services.

Your role is crucial in crafting, executing, and refining content strategies to optimize revenue, product discovery, and market dominance in eCommerce. Leveraging your analytical skills, you will identify consumer trends related to product detail pages and engagement, supporting innovative approaches to stay competitive.

Success in this role depends on blending data-driven decision-making with collaborative execution. You will foster a culture of innovation and teamwork, enabling your team to navigate complexities, seize opportunities, and drive growth in eCommerce sales.

This position requires proven strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of eCommerce or Amazon-specific retail dynamics. Your proactive approach to evolving eCommerce trends will be key to maintaining market leadership for Medline products.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop influential relationships with online merchants and key decision makers. Lead account service needs to ensure timely execution of activities.
  2. Formulate and execute annual sales, digital marketing, and promotional strategies for Amazon, focusing on product offerings, promotional plans, digital marketing, pricing, discoverability, content optimization, and reviews. Responsible for accurate sales forecasting and attainment.
  3. Analyze business growth opportunities, assess market and competitor trends, and use data and metrics to maximize market share, sales, and margins.
  4. Collaborate with supply chain and operations for forecast planning, inventory, new product rollouts, and fulfillment.
  5. Create and communicate performance scorecards, generate forecasts, and provide insights to increase sales and market share.
  6. Work cross-functionally with teams like Sales Strategy, Product Management, Marketing, Inventory, and Customer Operations to support the business.
  7. Develop partnerships within accounts to drive category growth and mutual value.
  8. Plan and conduct quarterly business reviews with customers, optimizing financial performance through P&L management, product mix, budgets, and value analysis.
Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Work Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant eCommerce account management experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, Amazon Advertising, and analytical tools like Stackline, Nielsen, IRI, CommerceIQ.
Preferred Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or related fields preferred.

Work Experience

  • Over 5 years of eCommerce sales or marketing experience, with exposure to Amazon retail environments.
  • 1-3 years of eCommerce analyst experience, with Amazon or Walmart.com merchandising exposure.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Ability to influence, motivate, and inspire teams.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of digital eCommerce and advertising environments.
  • Experience managing portfolios across Amazon, Walmart.com, and other retailers.
  • Consultative approach to providing solutions based on customer needs.

The salary range is $79,560 - $115,440 annually, depending on various factors. The role is bonus/incentive eligible.
