Full Job Description

This is a mid-level role suitable for a DevOps Engineer with experience working in both on-premises Linux and AWS cloud environments.

You will join a quant-focused hedge fund at a key stage of growth, as they expand their Linux on-premise and AWS environments across multiple business units, including low-latency trading.

Your responsibilities will include bridging physical infrastructure with modern cloud-native tooling and driving automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.

Ideally, you will have strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Ansible, champion IaC principles, and have a background in deploying CI/CD pipelines to streamline infrastructure deployments.

• Initially, work fully on-site, transitioning to 4 days per week after the probation period.

The fund operates more like a fintech than a traditional hedge fund.

It is a 250-person business, where things move quickly. There is limited red tape, and engineers are empowered to make decisions and help implement change.
