The Project

Our Heathrow Airport projects span over 10 years, focusing on high-quality, safe, and environmentally responsible infrastructure work. We have delivered taxiways, rehabilitated existing ones, redeveloped sterile and grass areas, and replaced critical assets. Currently, we are rehabilitating assets with expired design lives and planning future runway resurfacing, working closely with Heathrow to maximize value for money.

The Role

Assist the Agent in all civil engineering operations, ensuring adherence to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. Lead the engineering and site supervision team on a specific section of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with company policies, such as method statements, risk assessments, and briefings, setting a personal example in safety and quality.
• Support the Agent in operating the cost management system and developing programmes.
• Manage, supervise, and mentor site engineers to ensure high engineering standards and proper record-keeping.
• Coordinate with commercial staff to ensure timely and appropriate measurement and payment records.
• Work with the Agent to allocate labour, plant, materials, and design schemes.
• Inform the Agent of any potential contractual or commercial liabilities.
• Manage the ordering process and supplier relationships for timely material delivery.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure service delivery and compliance with company policies.
• Promote company values in dealings with employees, clients, subcontractors, and external contacts.
• Prepare and deliver daily activity briefings and maintain relevant records.
