Job description

Leicester Grammar School is one of the UK's top-performing co-educational HMC independent day schools.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably qualified science laboratory technician to support our Chemistry department by co-ordinating the use and development of practical and other resources for teachers and pupils. Whilst the role is predominantly based in Chemistry, you will be joining our team of experienced and well-qualified Physics and Biology technicians. Not only is there the opportunity for training and mentoring, but also you may support the other sciences on occasion.

The role will be full-time, during term time including INSET and attending other annual events, such as the Science Fair and Open Days. We are happy to consider both experienced candidates, and Science graduates with a knowledge and understanding of Chemistry, who may be looking for a training and development opportunity, looking to progress into a chemistry or education related role.
