Job Description

The Project Manager position in Camden, NJ, reports to the Project Management Group within the Nuclear Power Division of Holtec International.

This role is responsible for the successful implementation of projects primarily focused on the storage and transportation of Spent Nuclear Fuel within the US. Periodic travel (10-15%) is required.

Principal Duties Include:

1. Project planning and execution within budget, schedule, and contract requirements.
2. Identifying project risks and developing mitigation plans.
3. Ensuring compliance with contracts in a cost-effective and technically sound manner.
4. Interfacing with internal teams including engineering, manufacturing, construction, and fuel loading.
5. Reporting project progress to internal and external stakeholders, including the executive team.
6. Facilitating design reviews to ensure compliance with engineering principles, contract requirements, and standards.
7. Approving design changes, specifications, analyses, and drawings.
8. Preparing proposals and commercial quotes for out-of-scope work as needed.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, controls, or engineering.
• Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

Additional Skills

• Degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience with Primavera or Microsoft Project scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with or experience in the nuclear power industry.
