Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CAD Technician.
  • Technical knowledge for 3UK, BT/EE, and MBNL.

Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD.

Where will you be working?

At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech-enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private, and mobile operators.

What will you be doing?

As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our projects. You'll work closely with Designers, Engineers, and other professionals to produce detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. Your responsibilities include producing telecom planning drawings, general arrangement drawings, detail design drawings, as-built drawings, schematics, elevations, and Land Registry drawings, along with preparing and completing project documentation.

You will also update internal reporting systems to the CAD Team Lead, support the Design Team in delivering high-quality, accurate project documentation, and update design drawings to “As Built” status from field reports and red line drawings. Completing drawing checks, producing red line drawing markups, revising and updating plans based on feedback and project requirements.

What you’ll bring
  • Energetic and self-motivated
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CAD Technician in an architectural or engineering firm
  • Steel connection detailing and foundation design
  • Technical knowledge and design specs for 3UK, BT/EE, and MBNL
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and solve design-related issues efficiently
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to change
  • A degree or diploma in CAD, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
