A leading company in the maritime and defence sectors is seeking a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer. This hybrid role involves providing technical support and managing customer IT systems. This role is with an MSP & telecoms service provider that is experiencing continued growth. They are well-funded and constantly winning new contracts across both private and public sectors.
They are an exciting company with over 250 employees and offices worldwide. They operate in the maritime, defence, and commercial sectors, providing connectivity, communication, and managed IT solutions.
You will join a team of 3 customer-facing systems engineers responsible for technical support, administration, and management of customer IT systems. Approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to ticket resolution, with the remaining 50% on project work, though this may vary.
We seek a strong Microsoft-focused engineer with extensive MSP experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills. Key technical skills include VMware & virtualization, Windows OS, and Active Directory management.
A well-rounded IT background is desirable, including Windows Desktop and Server, Networking, Office 365 technologies, WiFi, Data and Voice Communications, etc., typical of MSP roles.
The office is based in Redhill; candidates should live within a commutable distance.
