Arc Locums is a well–established and highly regarded Locum Agency, committed to providing high–quality staff to Primary Care Providers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team on a locum basis.

About the Role:

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner Locum, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients presenting with a variety of acute and chronic conditions. You will work autonomously, utilising your advanced clinical skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic conditions, following established protocols and guidelines.
• Prescribe medications within your scope of practice and in accordance with relevant legislation.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, X–rays, and ECGs.
• Develop and implement individualised patient care plans.
• Provide health promotion and disease prevention advice to patients.
• Make referrals to specialist services as required.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in accordance with organisational policies.
• Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in clinical governance activities, including audits and service improvement initiatives.
• Keep up–to–date with current evidence–based practice and guidelines.
