This is an exciting new post to join two existing Consultants in Oral Surgery within the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics at Hereford County Hospital. This part-time post (2 days / 5 pa) provides excellent surgical experience, teaching, and supported opportunities for learning.
The Specialty Doctor is expected to participate in all aspects of the work of the department under the general direction of the Consultants, including outpatient clinics, day surgery operating sessions, and the care of inpatients ranging from dentoalveolar surgery to general oral medicine. The Specialty Doctor will be well supported by senior cover from the Consultants in Oral Surgery. There is no on-call commitment attached to this post.
