Job description

Job Opportunity: Electrical Engineer

Our client, an iconic motorcycle manufacturer based in the UK, is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer. The successful candidate will contribute to defining software and hardware requirements for the electrical system, working closely with system architects, design teams, and product management.

The Electrical Engineer will:

  1. Lead the technical direction, specification, and delivery of vehicle communication systems such as CAN and LIN.
  2. Schedule and conduct bus load testing for all network ECUs to meet system requirements.
  3. Manage network testing, simulation, and data collection tools.
  4. Support concern reviews with progress reports and updates on electrical issues.
  5. Create system requirements for all ECUs and vehicle networks.
  6. Contribute to defining the software development process.

The Electrical Engineer will have:

  1. Strong application of engineering principles in designing and developing components and assemblies for optimal functionality and performance.
  2. Ability to integrate components into cohesive, reliable systems.
  3. Hands-on experience with dSPACE Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) tools for automotive system testing.
  4. Focus on designing cost-effective components and systems for manufacturing.
  5. Proficiency with Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, and CANape for network analysis and diagnostics.
