Job Description

The Senior Accountant will have a key leadership role in supporting the Directors. Responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and individuals
• Preparing management accounts, including budgets and cash flow forecasts
• Preparing year-end accounts (FRS 105 & FRS 102)
• Handling corporation tax returns and self-assessment tax returns
• Supporting the practice manager in workflow management and meeting deadlines
• Supporting team management and ensuring high-quality service to clients
• Training and mentoring junior team members
• Contributing to business planning and growth strategies

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing a client portfolio, with strong skills in year-end accounts preparation (FRS 105 & FRS 102) and tax planning & compliance, along with excellent technical knowledge. They should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be eager to play a key role in a growing firm.
