An established accountancy firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team in Alton. Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Proven experience with year-end accounts, tax returns, and VAT submissions.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting year-end accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies.

The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of clients and play a key role in delivering high-quality accountancy and tax services, while also supporting junior team members through mentorship and reviews.

• Managing a portfolio of clients across various industries
• Preparing and submitting year-end accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies
• Preparing and submitting Corporation Tax Computations
• Compiling and submitting quarterly VAT returns
• Conducting file reviews for all client types to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Providing training and mentorship to junior staff members
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working within an accountancy practice
• Proven experience with year-end accounts, tax returns, and VAT submissions
• Confident managing multiple client relationships
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
