Job Title - Claims Analyst (12 month fixed term contract)

Location - Leicester, London or Bexhill (Hybrid)

Role Overview

As a Claims Analyst, you'll be a key member of our Analytics Team within Claims. Your role involves delivering timely, relevant insights to support our insurance operations initiatives. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams—including data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders—to define, prioritize, and develop data solutions that enable data-driven decisions and business growth.

Job Details - Required Experience

• Effectively communicating insights from data using visualisations and narratives in a timely manner
• Monitoring and understanding drivers of performance affecting claims, operational costs, and customer outcomes
• Scoping, implementing, and tracking the impact of initiatives to streamline processes and improve controls
• Facilitating user workshops and training to promote data literacy and dashboard usage
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements aligned with business objectives
• Promoting data governance, quality standards, and security protocols within the team

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or Data Analysis within insurance, claims, or financial services
• Intermediate SQL skills, familiarity with Python or R, and experience with PowerBI or Tableau
• Experience managing analytical projects, creating dashboards, and structuring analyses to meet stakeholder needs
