Logistics Coordinator

Temporary - Immediate Start

£14.42 + Holiday Pay Per Hour

Location: Northampton

Are you passionate about delivering excellent service? Do you learn new systems and processes quickly? As a Logistics Coordinator, you will support the operations team and the wider business in delivering services to key customers. Your responsibilities include transport planning between warehouses and third-party sites, managing customer service and issue resolution across local distributors in several European countries. Effective communication with internal teams, external customers, and transport providers is essential. This role is critical to our operations, with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Your duties as a Logistics Coordinator will include but are not limited to:

• Planning and monitoring customer orders continuously.
• Liaising proactively with carriers to resolve in-transit issues.
• Reporting and resolving issues effectively.
• Booking collections and deliveries, managing special arrangements and returns.
• Transport planning for warehouse movements.
• Managing special delivery arrangements and returns.
• Investigating and resolving daily customer queries and complaints, liaising with carriers and customers in line with compliance procedures.

To be a successful Logistics Coordinator, you must have:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport.
• Organizational skills, including working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of transport management systems is beneficial.
• A good understanding of European geography.
