Senior Planning Engineer - Civil Construction - Ipswich

We are looking for a highly experienced and driven Senior Planning Engineer to join our team at our Head Office in Ipswich. This is a key role for someone with a strong site background and a passion for delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.

As the Senior Planning Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing, managing, and overseeing project schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and proactive risk management. You'll play a crucial role in coordinating with site teams and providing strategic planning support to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules from inception to completion.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to the project plan.
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports to senior management.
• Optimize resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Senior Planning Engineer within the civil construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site operations.
• Excellent proficiency in planning software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
