Our OEM Client based in Gaydon is searching for a Planning Engineer (Body Test Operations) to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a 12-month contract position initially until 31st March 2026, with the potential for further extensions.
Umbrella Pay Rate: Up to £33.64 per hour.
The Body Test Operations (BTO) Team is responsible for planning and managing physical prototype test properties that support the development and approval of body components for our client programmes. These properties, often referred to as 'rigs', typically consist of a painted body shell equipped only with the parts necessary for a specific test, rather than a fully assembled vehicle, and a number of supporting 'kits' of parts.
For some of the new models currently in development, we're also planning, building, and managing a large number of Instrument Panels and Floor Consoles (IP&Cs) assemblies to support development and sign-off testing. You will be leading the activities related to these IP&C properties.
