About the Role

AXA Partners is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Technical Accounting team in Redhill. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute in a supportive environment where your insights and analysis will significantly impact our business.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial reporting is accurate and timely. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Leading the monthly production of balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
2. Supporting analytical reviews of accounts to provide valuable insights
3. Producing accruals, pre-payments, and relevant audit lead schedules
4. Preparing technical P&L reports by business line, including reinsurance
5. Overseeing quarterly reporting and Solvency II reporting for regulatory compliance
6. Submitting reports to the group via AXA’s consolidation system
7. Ensuring on-time and accurate submission of QRT schedules to the Prudential Regulatory Authority
8. Acting as a key contact for internal and external audits
9. Producing Internal Control Reports and conducting Internal Control Testing on financial processes
10. Collaborating with the Risk and Internal Control department to enhance reporting accuracy
11. Creating management information packs to support senior management decision-making
12. Preparing budgets and rolling forecasts, performing variance analysis
13. Managing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations

Candidate Profile

• Are experienced in the insurance sector, with a strong understanding of financial reporting
• Are proficient in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing large datasets
• Are excellent analytical thinkers with keen attention to detail
• Are proactive communicators capable of collaborating across teams

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience
• A willingness to learn and grow within the finance field
