We are currently recruiting for an Executive Chef to continually develop the food offer for ISS Food Services and deliver innovation to our clients. The role involves establishing new food concepts relevant to business needs, mobilising new contracts, craft training, inspiring the team, and developing in line with business growth and ISS Food Services strategy.

Job Description

As the Executive Chef, you will evaluate proposed and required changes to services, identifying financial, personnel, and operational performance implications prior to confirming and implementing service changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand, develop, and implement current food trends and ideas into the business.
• Identify areas of craft development and implement necessary training.
• Develop a culture of sharing best practices and elevating food standards within ISS Food Services.
• Ensure the use of nominated suppliers to provide relevant supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures related to food safety, operations management, and recruitment.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• Senior chef experience.
• Ability to drive results, coach, and mentor chefs, supporting development and succession planning.
• Qualifications such as 7061/7062 or equivalent in food preparation and production.
• Minimum Level 3 food hygiene or equivalent.
• Passion for food and service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong commercial understanding with a proven track record.
• Experience in tendering for new business.
