Job Description:

Permanent position with a hybrid work model - 2 days in London.

An Application Support Analyst with experience supporting Guidewire Applications is required for a specialty insurer in the Lloyd's market. The role involves building out a new team to support the Claims department and the integration of Guidewire into the wider application estate.

The Role:

The organisation is a highly successful Lloyd's insurer based in the City of London. You should have prior experience supporting insurance-based applications, particularly Guidewire ClaimCenter.

You should have a technical background, capable of interrogating databases and SQL queries, managing and escalating tickets efficiently.

Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves interaction with third parties and relaying IT issues to non-technical stakeholders.

You should have knowledge of SQL databases and be eager to grow within the team, contributing suggestions for process improvements and optimizations.

Responsibilities:

1. Support & integrate Guidewire applications within business estates.
2. Identify opportunities and propose integration solutions, including batch processing and message queues.
3. Manage and provide technical support for Guidewire applications in production.
4. Coordinate with third-party vendors.
5. Collaborate with technical teams and business analysts to ensure successful integration.

Requirements:

1. Experience in London Markets or Specialty Insurance is required.
2. Extensive experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter.
3. Deep understanding of ITIL Service Management.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL.
