Electrical / Electronic Engineer - 12 month Contract

Location: Stafford, UK

Job Type: 12 month Contract - Full-Time On-Site

Department: Engineering

Level: Mid-Level (Engineer 3)

Rate: market rate p/hr

About the Role

As an Electrical / Electronic Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and overseeing the manufacturing and installation of electrical systems and components used in a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, military, and scientific applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test the manufacture of electrical equipment including machinery controls, wiring systems, and lighting.

Evaluate cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety of design models.

Estimate time and cost for project completion.

Simulate and test operation of machines, structures, and systems.

Investigate and analyse vendors' and competitors' products.

What We're Looking For

Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.

A detail-oriented team player with the ability to provide constructive feedback.

Proficiency in creating engineering drawings, sketches, and computations.

Experience with electrical theory and its application in engineering projects.

Familiarity with relevant design software and computer applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic or related discipline) is required.
