Forrest Recruitment Ltd are excited to be partnered with a well established, family-run manufacturing business in the Preston area. This is an exciting time to join the organisation as they enter a period of growth and they are seeking a proactive, dynamic character to play a vital part of their expansion plans. Working in a friendly team of 3 at their modern Head Office in Preston and reporting into the Office Manager, the role involves managing the customer journey and providing administration support to a busy sales team. This is a fast paced environment and the ideal candidate will be a motivated “go-getter” and be able to manage multiple tasks at once.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling sales orders and enquiries from new and existing customers (B2B)
  • Providing product information and quotations to customers
  • Taking orders via telephone, email and via the website
  • Processing sales orders onto Sage 200 and checking stock availability
  • Sending through to the Design/Dispatch team and managing timescales for orders
  • Liaising closely with the Design team to create bespoke orders for customers and setting up product codes on the system
  • Raising proforma invoices on Sage
  • Handling any after-sales issues/complaints and providing resolutions for customers
  • Chasing couriers for missing/late parcels and issuing replacements/refunds as necessary
  • Following up enquiries to convert into sales
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Identifying new market opportunities and potential areas of business growth
  • Maintaining accurate sales records and databases
  • Preparation of sales reports and presentations for management
  • Assisting with the coordination and administration of company events
