We are seeking motivated postdoctoral scholars with a passion for flexible bioelectronics and medical robotics to join our dynamic research team. This project focuses on developing a smart bioelectronic system that seamlessly integrates therapeutic functions with continuous monitoring capabilities. The system incorporates cutting-edge technologies in bioelectronics, soft robotics, and materials science, leveraging advanced materials and fabrication technologies. As a member of the Multiscale Intelligent Biodevices Lab (MIB), led by Dr. Rujie Sun at the University of Southampton, you will lead efforts to develop innovative bioelectronic systems that integrate real-time monitoring and therapeutic functions. Your primary focus will be designing and fabricating flexible bioelectronics that can interface seamlessly with biological tissues, combining soft robotic techniques to enhance personalized treatment. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on interdisciplinary projects, pushing the frontiers of personalized medicine and health management. In this project, you will collaborate with Inha University and have access to a broad network of academic partners, including Imperial College London, University of Oxford, University of Bristol, and University of Liverpool. Additionally, we work closely with industrial and clinical collaborators, providing opportunities for fostering new partnerships and expanding your professional network.

The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon successful completion of the PhD. Prior to the qualification being awarded the title ofSenior Research Assistantwill be given.
