About Woodlodge Products:

Woodlodge is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality garden and outdoor products, offering a wide range of planters, garden furniture, and other outdoor decor items. Role Overview:

The Junior Buyer will support the buying team in the procurement of Woodlodge products, with a focus on Outdoor Furniture. Working with our current factory base to develop and lead the outdoor furniture market in the UK, following trends and ensuring we deliver good value to our customers.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in buying and product development within the garden and homewares industry across both B2C and B2B sites.

Key Responsibilities:

· Providing support to the buying team in sourcing product from international suppliers

· QC support – reviewing and approving QC reports and product and packaging images

· Creation and updating of costing sheets

· Trading the consumer website

o Setting up product

o Managing product pages in season

o Review sales figures to identify bestsellers

· Working closely with the marketing team.

o Creating product descriptions to feed into copy writer

o Recording all product information ie dimensions.

· Updating and managing the critical path

· Update B2B trade portal with new season product and images

· Product sample management

· Conducting market research and competitor analysis

· Key Skills and Attributes:

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to form excellent working relationships both internally and externally, domestic and overseas

· Some knowledge of critical paths and product development timelines an advantage

· Flexible, driven, numeric and highly organised

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

· A keen interest in home and interior trends.

· A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a buying or purchasing assistant role is an advantage.

· Knowledge of the garden, homeware, or outdoor living sector is desirable but not essential.
