Job summaryKennet and Avon Medical Partnership is a large general practice in Wiltshire. We are seeking a QA administrator to join our team, initially for a fixed term contract period of 12 months.
This is a non-clinical administrative role, working for 24 hours a week, ideally over 3 days, with flexibility on working days between Monday and Friday.
This role plays a key part in optimising the health of our patients with chronic and life-long conditions as well as contributing to the health of our wider population. You will cover named medical conditions, health screening and immunisations rotating each year. You will work among a great team of professionals and in a flexible environment. Interviews for this role will take place during week commencing 2 June 2025.Main duties of the jobAs a QA administrator you will follow quality assurance processes which are designed to ensure that standards of care are maintained and improved, to minimise errors and provide patient safety and quality of care.
Your main roles will be to:
- Summarise contents of paper medical records and add relevant information to the patient's electronic record.
- Assist with processing clinical correspondence, eg from hospitals, adding relevant information to the patient record and flagging any actions to the appropriate clinician.
- Ensure optimal uptake of health promotion initiatives, such as cardiovascular health screening and immunisations.
- Contribute to the achievement of The Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) by managing continuous call, recall and monitoring processes. This consists of managing and maintaining our long term conditions registers and inviting patients for annual reviews.
