Maintenance Engineer (Industry Training)

£30,000 - £40,000 + Training + Workshop based with some travel + Progression + Overtime + Pension + Holiday

Commutable from Lymington, Southampton, Bournemouth, Ferndown, Fordingbridge, Verwood, Christchurch, and surrounding areas

Are you a Mechanical Fitter, Service Engineer, Machine Tool Fitter, or similar looking to join a growing business that will invest in your full industry training to develop you into the machine tool industry? Join a close-knit family business offering a role split between workshop and fieldwork on various machinery, with full industry training and opportunities to maximize earnings through overtime.

This company supplies machinery and machine tools across the UK and internationally. Due to growth, they seek an engineer to work mainly in their workshop with occasional travel.

In this role, you'll split your time between the workshop and fieldwork (approximately 75% workshop), performing installation, maintenance, and servicing of machine tools like CNC machines.

The ideal candidate is a multi-skilled engineer comfortable with both workshop and fieldwork. Machine Tool/CNC experience is beneficial but not essential.

The Role:

• Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (early finish at 3:00 pm on Friday)
• 75% workshop, 25% fieldwork, with occasional overnight stays
• Maintenance and servicing of machine tools

The Person:

• Mechanical experience, electrical experience beneficial
• Machine Tool/CNC experience advantageous but not required
• Full UK Driver's license
