Introduction

We are working with a long-standing banking client to find a Contract Team Manager with a background in Lending Operations. This is a 12-month day rate contract requiring attendance at the Bristol office at least 2 days per week, so living near Bristol is essential.

As the Contract Team Manager, you will lead the Lending Operations team, providing vision and strategy for Business Banking lending and technical operations. Banking experience is essential.

You will work on a day rate basis via an Umbrella company.

Your role

Responsibilities include:

• Developing Business Banking lending and technical operations.
• Leading and managing the Lending Operations team from credit approval to payout.
• Managing process improvements to enhance effectiveness and reliability.
• Administering the business lending and banking system.
• Maintaining high standards of work quality and risk management.
• Monitoring performance and communicating progress.
• Motivating team members through delegation, feedback, and recognition.

Your skills and experience

• Extensive experience in loan/credit administration or lending operations within a reputable bank or financial institution.
• Knowledge of credit risk principles and practices.
• Proven team management experience in banking or finance.
• Business-related qualification or in-house training in loan/credit administration is desirable.
