Vacancy: Mobile Forklift Engineer

Location: Sheffield

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours

Salary: Up to £35,000 plus company benefits

Are you an experienced Forklift Engineer, or do you have transferable skills? If so, we would like to speak with you.

We are currently looking for a capable Mobile Forklift Engineer with a proven background and skill set in this field. We are also interested in candidates from Plant, Engineering, HGV, or Agricultural backgrounds.

Our client aims to expand their team of Mobile Forklift Engineers to maintain forklifts within their customer base, traveling across sites in the Leeds/Bradford area.

Mobile Forklift Engineer role

• Perform technical works ranging from general servicing and repairs to diagnostics.
• Complete repairs to a high standard, following manufacturer procedures and processes, with attention to detail.
• General maintenance and repairs.

Candidate requirements

• Self-sufficient individual capable of managing their own time and workload to meet customer and site requirements.
• Experience dealing with customers and the general public, as this role is customer-facing.
• Professional and courteous demeanor, representing the brand well.
• Good working knowledge of forklifts and related equipment.
• Industry-recognized qualifications demonstrating adequate training on the equipment.
• Full UK driving license.
