Job summary

Mondelez International is seeking a Demand Planner to analyse weekly forecasts by brand and SKU, coordinate input from Sales, Marketing and other partners, and optimise service while minimising waste.

You will support in validating the short-term demand plan, adjust it with input from Supply Planners or Commercial teams, and create models for stock cover projections. This is a 6-month secondment with a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods or consumer packaged goods environment, preferably food or a related industry.
• Experience within an IBP/S&OE environment.
• Able to influence cross-functional teams, prioritise and improve the plan.
• Analytical skills with ability to interpret data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Be empowered to challenge processes to find efficiencies.
• Team player who can work with many functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage availability of your portfolio ensuring daily fulfilment of deliveries.
• Accountable for medium scale category management and proactive product allocations management.
• Consult with the commercial and operational teams and develop ways to continuously improve communication between the functions to support the delivery of the business KPIS.
• Support the forecast compilation process, which includes owning the short-term weekly plan and aligning the long-term forecast ahead of seasonal activity.
• Create statistical models to generate forward stock cover projections.
• Support project activity to deliver volumes for required key launch dates.
• Perform root-cause analysis for key service issues and share output with appropriate leadership.
• Monitor and reduce risk of aged stock.
